A poster, an envelope, tickets, and an envelope were designed for an event being hosted by The National Civil War Museum called “Artifacts of The Civil War: Tragedies & Trinkets. The poster promoted the event which was held from May 18th, 2023- May 25th, 2023, which is open to everybody. However, the tickets were used for the special event, which included an exclusive tour and dinner and was held on August 11th, 2023.
The envelope was researched and crafted to fit the official postal guidelines, with the invite being placed inside and a ticket attached to the invite itself. The artwork and typography is meant to capture the grittiness and depressive side of the war, with the colors referencing both the Union and Confederacy.
